Yeah I always 'slam it to the deck' as those burberry wearing types would have it. I just wish the bloody thing would stay where you put it. Granted, on anything but a perfectly smooth road it would be a bit of a boneshaker....Probably damage something aswell? Did you know that in off road mode, there is actually another higher setting above that? It activates if you 'bottom out' on a rock or something. |

EX-X5, if you hold the lowering button down until you get a warning gong then it will be locked into access mode. To get out of locked mode hold the down button until you get the gong again. If you try to drive above 20mph you will get lots of warning bongs until you unlock the suspension.

Is it possible when parking the RRS to have it automatically go into Access Height when you remove the ignition key? |

I think you only see that when the car is jacked up onto 3 wheels. I noticed the same recently after changing a wheel and then lowering the suspension. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

I always put mine in access mode, i recently had the car lowered to access mode so it runs at that height full time, but i am now thinking on having it raised again a i find the ride a little harsh |

Whenever I leave mine locked in access mode from being in a multiple-story car park and then drive off the ride is terrible. Can't believe you'd want that all the time. It's not like it looks better either, the whole car looks too squat. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

I have to admit i only had it done to see what it was like and if the ride was ok i would keep it at that, now i know better. I personally like the look of the car at access height, then again everyone is different. |

Hey, noboby listening to you ![]() Answer, no unfortunately is not possible. Probably a safety feature, car does not know where you parked and if it is safe to lower itself. '08 RRS TDV8 I converted my diesel RRS to run on an environmentally friendly mixture of caribou fat and baby seals oil |
