I recall watching Fifth Gear or Top Gear a while back where they featured a lawyer who specialised in these kinds of issues his success rate was excellent someone here may recall the episode?

Hi..
The only advice i can give, from experience is... if there are no clerical errors with registration number, date time etc then all you have left is to attend and pour your heart out about how important your car is for work, money, kids starving etc...
I've seen a number of cases where people have exceeded 12 points but not banned.
You don't really need a solicitor as your going to plead guilty, (i assume?) and the money you save will go towards the fine!!! Just lay it on thick when your asked if there are any reasons why you shouldn't be banned...
Alternatively... Are you sure it was YOU driving??? couldn't it have been your wife, girlfriend, foreign friend who have less points!!!
Good luck.. Thumbs Up 2010 Discovery 4

thanks for the advice guy's!

my tactics are sorted......arrive at court in a horse & cart dressed like Borak,
explain i am from a 3rd world eastern block country & plead poverty!!

Wots the worst that could happen?
A couple of months in that prison were people actually break into cos its such good fun or they let me off with a new fully expensed council house for my inconvienence?

A mate of mine just used Nick freemans services, He was caught at 127MPH, he left court with a clean licence and was awarded costs... Its not cheap though.
