OK have not replaced the brake light switch yet as all was fine, untill this morning !
light switch in the off position but front fog lights and rear side lights were on and no brake lights :shock ... |

I'm no expert, but, perhaps wheel bearings or have a look under car to see if somethings loose and touching a wheel occasionally

to be honest iv'e always used auto glym shampoo and resin polish, just not very often, and can't be bothered with the extra gloss protector every time (love to see the beading when it rains though)
