Mechnaics found that one of the EGR valves was stuck open - both were full of  so I had them blanked off. Picked it up about an hour ago and it drives better than it has ever done! |

Mine's a 56 plate with 30,000 miles on the clock.
Had them blanked them off today (£160) - car drives better than it has ever done performance wise and no issues with any warning lights - fingers cr ... |

It gets worse!
Based on the thinking of the fuel problem I dosed it up with additive and then went out tonight to try to give it a bit of a run.

If you had sludge in your tank then yes it could be a problem - do you use cheap supermarket diesel?

Clogged up fuel filter is a possible answer but all these sort of problems seem to revolve around the EGR valves.
