thanks guys. From speaking to a few 'in the know' it sounds like still having DSC on caused most of the problem... with it off then 90% chance of getting out that mess on my own.. we live and learn!

| when you turn the parking aid off (for what ever reason) then the next time you select reverse it should auto re-enable.. currently it doesnt and that's got disaster written all over it! |

| on my TDV8 it goes up to 26mpg on the motorway (ACC set at 77mph). Around town its just over 20mpg. When I engage the Sport mode on the gearbox, and give it a spank, it drops to 16mpg. |

seems to be some confusion here.. so can someone clarify whether a MY07 RRS fuel cap should lock? immediately? after some time period? the cap, the flap, both or neither?
