I didn't have any issues at all with the slam panel bolts,, crack them off and then give a good squirt of WD40 or similar and work them back and forth.

There will be a refrigerant switch,, high / low pressure switch of sorts, most likely next to the schrader valves ( charging valves) on the refrigerant line

A few codes would help to narrow things down but at a guess it could be a ride height sensor or if you are still on the original compressor,, a blocked exhaust valve.
