after much to-fro with the dealership, we finally found the correct part, which oddly enough had to be sourced from the Jaguar parts bin: C2D60916, which is the 49.38 mm one.

Car's in for the coupler replacement.

At some point in 2014, Eaton changed the size of the coupler, but neither them nor JLR can which size is fitted from the VIN.

That could be the supercharger coupler failing.

To confirm, remove the supercharger belt, and turn by hand. If there is play, you will need a new one.

You can select it any time, whether stationary or moving, regardless of speed. Hell, you can even select it when off-roading. Mr. Green

^ yeah, I've heard about this as well.

This is why we're going for the oil-filled ones, these seem to do a much better job at absorbing vibrations
