No, I just use (swappable) shortened rods - lot cheaper and nothing to drill/break.

If you're going to be doing any sand driving, then the lack of power in the Prado diesel will disappoint. RRS wins hands down

The 2010 detachable tow bar is different to the prior years. They're all swappable however. The 2010 towbars don't hang down as far, reducing grounding off-road.

A much cheaper option is to wire in a single 21W bulb to one of the indicator circuits somewhere on your trailer. The car will then recognise the load.
