Nope, a fall in fuel consumption means less fuel is being consumed, although the number of mpg or litres per 100km gets bigger 
Martin - I think you mean to say that the number of litres per 100k ... |

Got my car from the dealer yesterday.. they've changed some filters... and fuel consumption has fallen to 24l/100km (12 mpg UK) from almost 30l/100km (9.7 mpg UK)... pure magic  |
