The extended warranty covered the entire cost (came to $1,700).
It was the ACE Pump. I only paid for Tax. |

Quick update.
finally after 2 visits to the LR dealership, the technician nailed it!
It was related to a bad hydraulic pump which feeds into the hydraulic sway bar.

I highly recommend that you order the Range Rover 200x-2009 Repair manual.
I just got it and it has everything you need to know about RR maintenance.
Go to ebay and you will find it. |

Is it by any chance a pulley like noise? kind of a lose pulley?
I have a 2007 Sport and I hear a noise once when engine is cold, then during acceleration.
The car drives normal though. |

I wouldn't call it chirp, however it goes high with high rpm and almost disappear when rpm is low.
