When you turn the front fan up, does the display in the rear indicate the same fan speed? Mine does.
If not, maybe the entire control is broken or maybe a CCF config error? |

Tested mine at the weekend. The rear fan control is directly linked to the front fan control. If you turn the rear fan control up, the front fan control also increases.
i.e. It's the same fan. |

By early, I mean launch until when the newer more graphical home screen came in.

| Yes. Nice colour, very subtle. Easier to keep looking nice (shiny) that pure black but still better when clean. Doesn't hide dirt so well as a lighter silver. |
