I've not edited the CCF to enable heating with IID Tool, but if that was the only problem, surely everything else would still work, bar the heating? As it stands it has a meltdown!

Yes, clock spring (squib) has the heated connection.

The issue is more that it goes ape with faults for the steering wheel control module when the wheel is fitted. Aside from the heating function ...
