I had this on my 2005 HSE too, a few times whilst abroad too!
LR changed the solenoid and it has been fine since.

The locking actuators can be guilty for playing up. Reasonably cheap to replace, if not a bit fiddly

Have you tried giving it a good clean then oil/greasing the locking bolt 
Where is the locking bolt ? I can just see a square bar that goes into a hole !!!!! |
