The spring in the isolators have been known to fail and the isolator wear so the take up is not absorbed and makes a noise, but I I think that is more of a "clicking" noise.

| Noise seem to go away when reving up then soon as it drops down to idle comes back , thats why I thought of cam tensioners but not sure , it's not super loud or anything but its there every morning .. ... |

Ok thanks , been talking to mechanic today and he said oil filter in gearbox is a part of the sump as well so need to replace both , is that correct or is he trying to scew me for few more quid ??  ... |
