	I do it, makes a difference and wouldn’t bother if it didn’t. Only been involved in engines etc for 25 years so may be wrong.

	It’s a well documented thing that there is no point replacing the centre bearing. Buy a new gkn or genuine one only as the cheap ones are known to fail as well!

	New hoses fitted and 100 miles covered today, no issue. I also cleaned the map sensors and throttle response has improved along with average economy upto 35.7 mpg on the journey to work and back.
