Car is 6 months old and just past 10k miles and its telling me it needs a full service.

Seems... unusual.

Any one any thoughts or experience?

2015 MY HSE Registered 8/4/15 first service on 5/5/16 at 13967 miles.

Now sitting at 22379 miles and indicating service required. Dealer says has to be done etc etc.

Many thanks all. I have just gone with with the Y rated. The price difference turned out a bit less in the end as prices seemed to change overnight so definitely not worth the risk of any issues.
