| I inclined to think the major cause of corrosion with the pipes etc. is actually the salt used on UK roads during the winter months more than just a wet climate, they don't salt the roads here either ... |

| Not sure it really makes that much difference, as main dealers here always used 0w-20 when they serviced mine and never had any adverse effects, although as I now do my own have reverted back to 5w-20 ... |

Try RYG000461 but that's a16mm diam. bolt I think that would be well siezed it it breaks when undoing it.

So does the engine actually start or just spin over? Your post heading says no compression, have you actually done a compression test.

I think initially I would check that the timing belt has not snapped, and the pistons have clouted the valves etc. although you do say the camshaft turns or do you mean the crankshaft?

I can't remember exactly, but if the pin does not fire out far enough to lock the hitch in place the green lock bit does not rotate far enough to remove the key that locks it.

The 255 is around 10mm larger diam. probably less if a worn tyre, so should be no problem as a spare to get you home ok.

I had a similar issue with mine, and had to just clean up the mating face of any rust, paint and burrs etc. now fit's fine, would also suggest you get one of these as a precaution when fitted.

| It will fit the car as the PCD is the same on both vehicles, and will certainly fit under the vehicle, what size wheel/tyres are fitted to the car? as if to much of a mismatch might throw up a warning ... |
