Adaptive headlight problem

My 2nd RRS has adaptive headlights. On the UK setting, there are patches of darkness where the light is not falling. On the continental setting, there is a vertical step in the lights where the beams meet. The UK dealer has had the car for six days now, and has been unable to fix the problem, even after replacing the passenger side headlight, which gave the owrse 'darkness'.

Has anybody else had a similar problem? how was it sorted?

This is not something I've heard of being talked about on here before now, so you might be completely in the hands of your dealer. Sit tight and if someone knows something about this, I'm sure they'll chip in
