United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

My MPG is getting worse (or should that be my driving is getting worse? Laughing) . Is the 'redline' in the tdv8 4k revs? Even if i have it in sport with foot to the floor it seems to shift up at 4k.
