United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged HST Rimini Red

Well there's a turn up for the books - a FL2 purchase............

I have hit a dilemma and just today spoke to the stealer about my D3 which now has 39k miles on the clock. I am looking to do a swap and as its going to be a 12-18 month thing, he suggested a Freeloader 2.
Whistle Whistle

I like them (a lot) in the right colour and spec, but it isn't a D3 and I am thinking it may be a little too feminine......is it....or am I just being paranoid or shall I get the Deed poll forms now and change my name to Krispin and be done with it??

Financially it makes sense as the Disco will loose another chunk in the coming year (being its 3rd birthday) whereas the Freeloader is relatively new and will suffer less in the next 12 months or so...and I will end up with much less mileage on the clock......the one I am looking at has 1900 miles (ex-LR) on the clock and is a 57 plate.

Comments?? My Gladiators:

RRS S/C HST - respect of the highest order
Freeloader 2 SE with all the toys - my baby RR
Merc SL55 AMG - Tarmac ripper!

Disco3 - Gone
Defender 90 TD - Gone
FFRR Vogue - Gone
BMW X5 4.4 - Gone
LR Defender 300Tdi - Gone
LR Defender 2.5 PETROL - Gone

I have both, it depends what you use the car for as to which is best. The Fl2 is a better driving car and perhaps more nicely finished. The D3 has a magic carpet ride the Fl2 doesn't, it is more practical. I take the D3 out of choice, so I suppose that is my view really! DS3 TDV6 HSE

The FL2's a good car but I don't think they're great value for money if you buy a new one, esp with all the toys. £30k+ for a new loaded HSE.... Confused

Wlili, is it a manual or an auto? And what colour? A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

Tata TDv8 HSE - Stornoway/ebony and straight grain walnut with towpack, Tasmods and an HST grille. Coming soon LEDs in the headlights
Staying - Epsom Green Defender 90 for playing off road

Should be pretty easy to get a good price for it then A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

good thinking - I do feel the 5 series has no soul, however there's no getting away from the fact its a great car - go for the Touring and its massive too.

Doc,

Granted I never had the superb engine yours has, but I lived with one for 7 months before the RRS - they just don't make me look back at them when walking away (which I like)

I cant knock them for anything else though - technically a superb car

just my opinion of course

The 535d is stonking and chipped it's nothing short of ridiculous for a diesel. I would almost say that you don't need to buy your M5, but then I would be talking rubbish Whistle
