I have a TDV6 new in october last year and has been re-mapped

Getting on average 20mpg around town and have just done a run to london and back to manchester mostly cruising aroung 75-80 and returning aroung 28-29mpg

Any opinions on what you think would be appreciated guys

I'd say too its slightly too low - i was getting 24-25mpg for short journeys (and I live up and down dale so mpg is always poor) plus would average over 30mpg on a long motorway run (but I dont set cruise over 80)

I have got a bit of a heavy right foot to be honest but the wife uses the car in the week to and from our office and bobbing about shopping and she is usually gentle on the gas (so she tells me ) maybe she's a closet boy racer and nails it everywhere

I get a constant 21.5 mpg but my boot be made of lead

Mostly town driving tho...

You took a picture of the dash at 90mph.

My MPG is worrying me a little in the TDV8. Averaging around 23 at the moment. Hope it gets better considering im being pretty gentle (only covered 500 miles with it at the moment).

I would be very happy to be getting that sort of consumption if I were driving around at that speed all the time! I think a lot of owners of family type cars would be too! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I've been monitoring mine since I got it about a month ago,on long runs from either Sheffield to London or Sheffield to Scotland it creeps up until it reaches a maximum of 33mpg on Shell and only slightly less on any other decent diesel.
However and this may be affecting you if I run it on City diesel from Tesco I only get high 20's so that really is a false economy.
Interestingly I only ever achieved 35mpg max on similar runs from my Merecedes E280cdi so as you can imagine I'm very happy with the consumption. MY2011 HSE Santorini/Ivory/Piano Black/Privacy Glass/TV .Sadly gone.

It was 65 Tim and was coming back from london having filled up there

Only getting around 20MPG around town which is where most of my driving is done
