Info needed on Bentley-style leather

Hi RRS Experts,

I saw a car advertised with Bentley-style dark brown leather. I have never heard of, or seen, this option before. Any scoop if this is a factory option (if so what's the price) or if this can be applied afterwards. It sure looks very nice.

Thanks, here are the picutures:

Overfinch do a trim like this, as do the likes of Khan.

It's not a factory option and something you have to do afterwards and great cost to yourself. A waste of money if you ask me Rolling Eyes

I drove passed a non franchised dealership in Glasgow yesterday afternoon and turned back to have a look at the RRS they had parked on the kerb because I couldn't believe how low the sticker price was - Overfinch body kit, 22" Kahn wheels, Overfinch logos everywhere, Zermatt Siver with body colour only on the door spoilers (they had had the good taste not to do the roof pillars) badged as an S/C but no ACC box in the bumper (so it's a 2.7 or a 4.4) on a 07 plate (so it's a 2.7 then )priced at £26000. Then I looked in through the tinted front door windows and the interior is from an S.................................... c/w cloth interior. A really fur coat and no knickers car! With all the extra weight from the wheels and body kit it's probably slower than a non-adorned car too Rolling with laughter 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I think there is alot of nice ways to retrim the interior (which alot of companies will do professionally to a very high standard using quality materials). That just isnt one of them.

ps. It probably costs between £1400 - £1800 depending on who done it and whether they were being reasonable Laughing .

I will no doubt get flamed like mad for saying this................
But why is that when leather gets "quilted" it looks like cheap PVC, even when Bentley do it? Yet Alcantra looks quite good when it is quilted. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Must admit I'm not a great fan of the "quilted" effect even when it's done properly... but people must go for it, or else they wouldn't do it I suppose.

One of my local dealers had the Kahn? RRS on the forecourt with the black body and brown/bronze??? bonnet and roof £62K,

it wasn't to my liking, but the TDV8 with body kit and huge Overfinch Black wheels was really nice in the showroom

I suppose maybe one day..................
