I am having a little problem with the screechy tone of the TDV8 sound, especially at medium revs and moderate acceleration. Does it do the same on your vehicles?

This is my second diesel (after wife's FL2), and there it is quite audible.

The TDV8, however, loses this note at higher revs or when accelerating more aggressively.

Two questions -

1. does this sound diminish after run-in (I am still at 350kms) and
2. how does the sound change after chip-tuning (which I plan on doing, most probably at www.upsolute.com)?
