Thanks everyone for your expertise.
I am taking the RRS to Dartford next weekend so will add a 1000 mile and will then take it to a steeler for a professional opinion.
Trouble is can I trust a steeler to give a 'professional' opinion and help me, or just fob me off?

That's a bit of a crystal ball question.... I could only suggest (if it's convenient) that you dropped it over to CH as obviously being forum sponsors, it makes sense for them to provide a quality service to forum members (and one would hope to everyone else too, but then one would hope that was the case for all dealers, which plainly it isn't) Very Happy
