ViewWise.... if we do hold a dealer track day then any rrsport.co.uk forum members who have bought will be invited. Thumbs Up

There will be a pilot scheme running soon, and following that LR should be able to give dealers an idea of cost! Shocked

James Thumbs Up

Al, if you are going to use it then if you can, upgrade to the full day - it's well worth it even if you have years of offroad driving expeience it is a good day out and you don't have to use an RRS either LRE's also have top spec FFRR's for playing in! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced

Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Thanks Tim, already had the 1/2 day out with them last year at Dunkeld when I was thinking of buying the RRS, "upgrading" to the full day was the first thought I had while opening the envelope Whistle Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh

Just done my track night with Dreadnought garage at Knockhill circuit had an excellent time, The lad got taken around the track in a supercharged Lotus Exige while I was being shown how to drive and the lines on the circuit by Paul Luti, he is one smooth driver and I think we can expect to see him moving up a class or two soon.
The old MG handled it's self well and only suffered brake fade once, loved coming out of the the hairpin sideways and just managing to get it over the 100mph mark by the end of the straight. Porsche GT3 were passing me ... as was everything else... and the little buggies were incredeble. I'll up load some pics later. Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh

Just got back from an evening event at Brands Hatch, they called it open sessions or something..............

Was a last minute thing for £99, which was great value. Thumbs Up

What can I say.........whole host of fine metal there:

Lambo's
Porsche's
Caterham's
Subaru's

and a Veyron!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had a whole host of Shocked comments whilst we waited to go on...they were naturally admiring the HST's grands looks Mr. Green and were all getting rather excited about me going on with the "big boys".

At the off, I was absolutely Censored myself, thinking, what if it handles like a bucket, my trackday experience was zilch, so did not know what to expect on the tight corners or how the 3 tonner would behave. The HST day at Gaydon back in 06 proved its stability, but they were professionals and knew how to handle them at top speeds and fast cornering etc etc. I on the other hand had only experienced 70mph on the motorway Whistle Whistle

Well, I took a deep breath and hoofed it out of the pits as if I knew what I was doing.....got to the 1st corner called paddocks or something and nearly had a kitten, the corner seemed to come up on you in a split second. Hoofed again on the straight and again and again and before I knew it, I had completed my 1st lap!! Thumbs Up

After that, it was all a bit of a blur, but what a rush.......

One thing is for sure, I and the many others there were astounded how well the finest from Solihull behaved in both a straight line and on the cornering. After all, it may have the Sport tag on the back, but in reality it weighs a HUGE 3 tonnes, so just defies logic in reality.................

I for one was most pleased with the behaviour and even with the seat (had to get it in somewhere) confirmed 110% why I had bought the beast in the 1st place....it just does everything......and so well. Thumbs Up L322 Big Daddy SUPERCHARGED 5.0 Autobiography - Here & Now!
