2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

My RRS is Going Nowhere!!

Well, Here I am sitting at home waiting for LR Assist to come and look at my RRS

Really strange problem, I tried to pull out of the driveway and the car seemed to decide to apply the Brakes of it's own accord. Tried reversing and it did it again - It will move forward or back very slightly then apply the brakes If I turn the steering and then try to move the car it seems to apply the brakes on the side i am turning towards

Anyone had a similar problem Range Rover Sport - 2.7 TDV6 HSE - Java Black - Privacy Glass - Dealer Superchipped - a set of swanky TASMOD sill plates & Body Colour Matched SC Grill & Side Vents.

That sounds very strange... maybe your car didn't want to leave home this morning

Wifey had this problem too, sorted it out when I pointed out that it was an auto and didn't have a clutch... Sons of dogs come eat flesh

I'm a numpty -- but not that daft!

Anyhoo - LR Assist arrived very quickly and the car is now on it's way to the dealer on the back of a lorry.
LR Assist guy reckons that the parking brake is activating itself Apparantly he had a similar problem once before and whilst he was test driving the car the rear drivers side wheel just locked up because the shoe had actually come loose and the jammed! it sent him sideways on the road very reassuring - maybe they should just have left the handbrake as a good old manual version I'm currently waiting for a loan car which should be here anytime soon.
