Apparantly "it will be a Land Rover Product" Neutral
Exactly what I don't know. I'll let you know when it arrives.

OMG Shocked Horrible thought - Has the TATA deal been done yet Question I could end up with a nice TATA Pickup Shocked Confused Range Rover Sport - 2.7 TDV6 HSE - Java Black - Privacy Glass - Dealer Superchipped - a set of swanky TASMOD sill plates & Body Colour Matched SC Grill & Side Vents. Smile

Porsche Boxster S - 3.2 - Black

Or it'll be a 1963 Series LR, with no windows or seat coverings Wink

There have been a few issues with the EPB on the Disco 3 recently. Have a look over there. Bad news is I think LR are washing their hands with problem with the EPB! RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE Zambezi silver,Alpaca.

It could be worse than a Tata.................. you could get an FFRR S/C! 10mpg around town isn't a gifthorse I would want! A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

Tata TDv8 HSE - Stornoway/ebony and straight grain walnut with towpack, Tasmods and an HST grille. Coming soon LEDs in the headlights
Staying - Epsom Green Defender 90 for playing off road

OK Chaps, The Diagnosis is in!

Apparantly (as the LR Assist Guy suspected) the Parking Brake Shoes have "seperated" from their mountings and are floating around inside their drum - I mean WTF Shocked This is Soooo Dangerous it's just not funny!
What would have happened if they had decided to fail as I was doing Errrr 60mph Whistle along the road - I suspect it wouldn't be pretty!! Evil or Very Mad The car should be ready later today so I'll be asking the Service Manager about the safety issue's this raises. But, Don't think I'll bother engaging the EPB anymore.

For those that asked, the loaner I got was a Java Disco SE, not bad, but definately a bit more agricultural than the RRS and definately not as good to drive. LR Assit use Enterprise Car Rental and the guy that delivered it said that LR insist they supply customers with an LR Product. Range Rover Sport - 2.7 TDV6 HSE - Java Black - Privacy Glass - Dealer Superchipped - a set of swanky TASMOD sill plates & Body Colour Matched SC Grill & Side Vents. The Enterprise depot in Springkerse in Stirling always has one or two examples of each model on it's forecourt.................. when I asked about renting one for the day they told me they were not for general rental, so does this mean that Enterprise depots have to stock a selection of Landies just for Land Rover Assist use?
Expensive business if they do! Must admit they don't seem to go out much but the stock does get changed as I see all colours and specs sitting there. A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

The Enterprise agreement is actually with Mondial, who run LRA and any number of other mfr assistance schemes, so I expect the cost to Mondial is actually quite affordable given the amount of cars they must be renting.
