They're used to stop unnecessary vibrations damaging the car over periods of time - a lot of cars have these, but not always quite so obvious. Don't get anyone to move them - it will all end in tears |

They are fitted to all RR Sports and Discovery 3, nothing to do with the dynamic response.

Lets put it this way, if they weren't necessary you can bet Land Rover wouldn't have fitted them. Leave them well alone. A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.
