Loom for Parrot 3200

hi all,

5 months into ownership of my 08 TDV6 and still loving every minute! Cool

Following recommendations and the threads on this site i have just obtained a Parrot 3200 (via my company's Telstra account) yet it hasn't come with the specific loom to connect it to the back of the RRS stereo. I am struggling to source one of these as Telstra do not provide them and my dealer seems to have buried his head in the sand! The guy who is going to do the install thinks I may have to get it from france...??!

Can any one help with telling me where I can get this loom from.

Thanks

Alex

Thanks - I just called them and they are saying that only the cables on their site are available! the guy I spoke to even joked that it probably isn't made given Parrot are French and Range Rover British!

Sent you a PM

I thought that the cable connector on the expansys website is for a range rover?

Many thanks - I just looked and couldn't see a PM in the inbox?.

I've also posted a question on the forums section of the Parrot website to see if anyone there can help.

Try www.siocommunications.co.uk

You need Autoleads adapters, which they supply Smile Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support!

Thanks - I tried to contact them on a couple of the email addresses listed on the site to clarify type and availability of what i was after. In both instances I received an automated email response saying that they had been out of action due to a personal circumstance and were now back and getting through the backlog.... This was early last week and I have still had no specific reply to my emails.

I am in the meantime trying another lead that I have found.

Thanks
Alex

I know it's not in Oz, but these are the guys who fitted my Parrot and although they list no LR adapters, they do suggest contacting them if you have a car that isn't listed.

Thanks - this is the other lead i am already pursuing. I have an email into them, and will call tonight if no response.

Their site does reference specific Range Rover looms for the Parrot 3200:
http://www.justcarkits.co.uk/acatalog/Range_Rover.html

If they do supply/stock them, then as an expat in Australia at worst I can get it shipped to my folks back in the UK who can then on forward to me.

At long last my loom to link the 3200 to the car's stereo has arrived. Took about a week to get down under from the UK from order date. Have booked in the installation for next Tuesday!

I have no affiliation but want to add that the chap at http://www.justcarkits.co.uk/ was extremely knowledgeable and helpful on the phone. He even shipped some diagrams and downloaded docs showing the install to help. Very Happy

Thanks again to all those that helped with suggestions.
