retro-fit steering wheel adjustment switch

anybody know if you can retro-fit the steering wheel adjustment switch... was reading the manual last night and noticed you can electronically adjust the steering wheel. As a side feature, after opening the driver doors the steering wheel will retract giving the driver more space to get in and out of the vehicle. not that i need the space, although would be a nice option...

Unfortunatley it is not as simple as just fitting a switch.

The electronic adjusting steering column is a completely different column to the manual column you have fitted in your pre 08MY RRS. There are also aditional ECU's fitted under the RHF seat for controlling the electronic column.

No, it was not offered on MY08 UK models. It was only at MY08.5 models that this feature was added.
