My experience with tugging things off is that expect to break the clips - go to your parts department and pre-order replacements. RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE Zambezi silver,Alpaca.

I think that like most of the exterior trim clips on the RR Sport, the clips on the lower tailgate applique are a one fit clip. So the term "release and install" basically means if you remove the trim you have to install new clips.
