2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange
First Edition - very early model (May 05)

is there anything missing (ie. model updates etc) on a very early First Edition S/C (MAY 05)?... little spectacle on purchasing a used First Edition when it would have been one of the first RRS's on the road. Any issues that would have arisen with this model, i am assuming would have been rectified on later model releases.

Also, how do I reset the trip computer so I can calculate MPG on a lengthy test drive…

Thanks in advance,

Lemm

The 1st Eds were just that... and a few of the problems and useability issues have been either rectified or re-engineered when compared to a brand new one today. Personally, I don't see there's much of a reason to buy a 1st Ed today other than picking up an SC for half the price it once was.

Yep, that's really what makes them unique. The colour looks great in the flesh, but is it worth weighing yourself down with the car just because it's VO?

no... plate starts with ST

and yes... primary reason for First Edition is VO. Orginally fell into 'Black is best' view, however the more i see the VO, the more i am warming to it... plus I see far too many Java Blacks on the road in Surrey (and i want to be a little different).

shmoogle... are you saying the faults would have rectified on future model releases, or on warranty trips to the dealer?

Lemm - if you get this car quickly all faults are still covered by warranty as long as the mileage falls below the limit. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

West Ewell... just outside Epsom.

Kam will hopefully be sorting the finance out for me... car is secured with a deposit with first (and most likely) last viewing on Saturday.

Hopefully i'll be buying this car direct from LR (approved used cars) so as standard they offer a years warranty, First MOT, 1 year LR Assist + 2nd year MOT Insurance.. thus i don't mind paying the extra premium by buying from an LR approved dealer

I used to live in West Ewell the houses where the hospitals used to be.

Is the 1st edition the one Kam was offering? If so it seems to be a goodish buy. Top colour. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
