Is it an 07 or an 08??

Just going through the motions with the stealer and i am about to sign the contract to purchase my RRS but I notice that the manufacture date is listed as 07 complianced 08. Is it an 07 or 08?

When it comes time to sell it would I be selling an 08?

Is the order from stock, or being built? If it's being built it will actually be MY08.5 - if it's from stock, it could be either MY08 or MY08.5, depending on the actual build date. The chassis number will tell you for sure if for some reason, the dealer has a few brain cells missing and can't tell you himself.

I have a choice of 2 one in stock or one that is on the boat arriving middle/end of the month I am leaning towards the one on the boat its Alaska White but I think i'd be in the same boat (no pun intended) and it'd be a November or December build.

MY08.5 started coming out of the factory October 07-ish if I remember correctly, where MY08 had come in around March.... so a Nov or Dec build should be MY08.5 Very Happy

I just got my car in Brisbane two weeks ago and it is a MY08.5 and so if it has just come off the wharf in Australia in the month of Jan on you are getting the 8.5 version.

I've gone with a January production so I should hopefully see it end of March beginning April.

Did yours come with front parking sensors? The dealer says that the only difference between MY08 and the .5 is the trim and colour options.

The only difference I can see is in the trim and it does have the IPod coneection already in it, no front PDC's which takes alittle getting used to when you have had them before. I am sure you will have fun. It is a car that grows on you and then you start finding out what it can do and then you have troubles wiping the smile off your face. I have had a BM545i before this and I thought that had grunt. Steve

I was told that they are now standard. It sits next to the lighter at the back of the centre console. Work quite well as I use the lighter for charging and place the Ipod above the ice box so it is out of view. Steve
