I have a T637 that I'd leave in the car full time.

Attn BMW owners, do any of you have a cradle. I was looking at http://www.advancedautovations.com/home.html and the cradles that they have for the bimmers seem to be slightly different but the connector looks identical.

The BMW cradle system was not designed by Nokia and it's very, very doubtful it would somehow be compatible.

I have posted elsewhere in reply to your search for a cradle for your SE.

Here is a link to the approved list of phone-cradles by LR

http://www.landrover.com/assets/gb/en/Vehi...edures.pdf

You really need to liase with LR direct to establish how much longer you will have to wait befor a new cradle will be launched for the second generation og Sony E phones - such as the top spec K750i

Personally I have had no problems with using my Nokia 6230i via bluetooth ( as LR dont have a cradle specific to this phone either yet )

I had similar experiences with Audi - manufacturers are unable to type-approve phone cradles quick enough to keep up with new phone model launches. It takes a long time to get a simple product type approved and varies from country to country.

The T610/T630 is on the approved list, in the UK. But not in the US, even though it is the same software and same cradle.

Although I have the phone cradle (for Nokia 6230) myself, I am not sure it is really that much better than the Bluetooth connection.

yes, you can access your phone book on through the cradle connection, but if you have more than 1 number for the contact, it can only access the first one. So, it is not really that useful.

However, sometimes the phone cradle will give better connection than the BT. Not always, just sometimes.....don't know why.

So, it's not that big a deal without phone cradle....if you have BT
