2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black
Ivory Trim/sidesteps

Entering the process of ordering my next TDV8 Very Happy but have mislaid all my documents/brochures detailing trim and prices Sad . Considering Stornaway Grey with Ivory leather but not sure what trim is available or would suit this interior. The Landrover website does not give me a clear understanding of what is available for this interior colour. Any suggestions?

Also considering ordering side steps - anyone know the cost to have these fitted and I suppose they are dealer fitted not factory prices? Was shocked last year when I considered chrome mirror caps and chrome side vents at the cost. RRS TDV8 Java/Ebony, Privacy

One word of advice if you've not had the side steps before, because they protrude out from the car, when you get in and out your trousers end up rubbing the dirt off them. My wife HATES the side tubes I put on my Range Rover as she is shorter than me and struggles to climb out without touching them.

Good luck! Very Happy L319 D4 HSE

Sidesteps are a dealer fit accessory and on the price list I have will cost you £648!

The LR-recommended colour options for Stornoway are:

Zebrano/Ebony
Lined Oak/Ivory

The choice is yours though, obviously Very Happy

A LR dealer will charge about £120 per hour for the job and the sidesteps. Their labour time is 1.5 hours so labour costs will be £180 Total price if done from a dealer is about £650 inc VAT 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Hi PLidds
If you stand on the sidesteps as you get out you won't have the problem with dirty trousers! Whistle

I have a new TDV8 in Stornoway Grey with Ivory leather and Dark Zebrano.
I think it looks great. When the weather improves and allows me to wash it, I'll take some pictures and post them up.
It looks even better now I've had the JE exhaust fitted.

Exactly. Side steps are for standing on, hence no dirty trousers Thumbs Up

You will probably find if you order them before it is PDI'd at the dealer and that they are installed by the PDI guys that you might not be charged the labour for fitting them. Worth asking Idea TDV6 - gone

Thanks everyone; didn't see a cost like that coming but have negotiated the dealer pays a significant proportion for them. I think it's called good custom. I also see Marshalls are offering these on ebay at a cost of around £370 plus P&P. Are they easy to fit. Only takes a dealer 1.5 hours so shouldn't be difficult for me and the wife with my screwdriver!!

PaulB - Would be interested in any pictures of the Ivory/Zebrano interior you or anybody else can supply. I believe the Ivory/Lined Oak incurs an optional cost for the oak. Is this correct? RRS TDV8 Java/Ebony, Privacy

I seem to remember somebody tried to fit them themselves and it wasn't the easiest thing in the world. I think you need to make some mods to the underside to fit them and that's what causes the trouble. You may be great at this sort of stuff, but just think if it takes a service dept 1.5 hrs, it would be surprising if you could do it as quickly Very Happy
