It's either a sensor fault or a cracked reservoir Mis, and a warranty repair which was covered by a technical bulletin.
Have you checked the level in the reservoir when it's cold and then run the car, get it well warmed up and then the pressure in the tank will increase - and if there is a leak there then it will show. Whatever it is, a visit to the dealer is on the cards........ A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

Tata TDv8 HSE - Stornoway/ebony and straight grain walnut with towpack, Tasmods and an HST grille. Coming soon LEDs in the headlights
Staying - Epsom Green Defender 90 for playing off road

I would also take off the oil filler cap and have a look in the underside to see if there is any foamy mixture - as yours is a petrol engine and if you are loosing coolant then your head gasket could be shot and the coolant is going into the luboil......................................££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££'s A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

Don't all go into the dealers at once otherwise Land Rover will have run out and the parts will be on back order for weeks and weeks as they are not expecting a run on sensors and reservoirs! A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Arctic Frost

You all seem to forget that Ford Motor Company is on the verge of selling Land Rover and Jaguar to the highest bidder. At the moment they are trying to wringe every last penny out of these companies to maximise their profit margin. Do you honestly think that they would even think about stopping production on their best selling (profit making) model because a couple of customers have got "Low Coolant" messages.

Simple economics: The production line stops for a couple of minutes - That's one RRS that doesn't roll off the production line. Cost to the company - £40 - £50K.

Cost of a new coolant bottle is probably less then a tenner.

If it was your company what would you do? Stop the main production line for one hour, losing over between one and 1 and a half million pounds. Or tell a couple of unhappy customers (who have already paid for their vehicles) "Sorry, you will have to wait a while because we don't have any parts in stock".

I'm sure you will agree, this is a no brainer. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.
