painting Handles

Has anyone gotten their door handles painted to match the car? I was wondering what you paid and how long it took.

djsaad1, an eBay vendor does sell black door handles: http://stores.ebay.com/RoverActive

I think it's listed under "Land Rover LR3 Range Rover Sport BLACK Door Handle Set" $124.95

They do but you have to go down the Autobiography route. If the dealer you use has their own paintshop then they will probably do it for you, but the labour charges will be extortionate - the rural dealer I use here in Central Scotland, not exactly a high cost area, is now £85ph! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

does anyone know how to take the door handles off? I want to get them painted and it seems to be so much cheaper if I take them off and install them myself.
