Shocked Shocked

So they've recalled the TSB because it didn't work on everyone's cars? What about on those it did?

Odd.

Had mine brought in to a LR dealer in The Netherlands, but they did not want to do the upgrade, too many problems ... Bummer big time.

Umberto, thanks for the update for us "U.S. Americans".

May have to look into doing this next time I get mine out to the dealer.

Don't get too excited Greg... As you can see in the linked thread on rr.net, there are already reported problems with the upgrade of some MY06 modules. Banging Head

My 07 RRS has been in the stealers today and I asked about the software upgrade. I was told by the service guy that he was not aware of any upgrade and that they check for any upgrades anyway and there wouldn't be a charge. Very Happy
Then, got a call from him about an hour ago to say, yes there is an upgrade, it would take half an hours labour and would cost about £57. I've told them to go ahead so I'll let you know if its worth it later... Confused

Done. Works a treat. All contacts on radio green screen via BT (scroll through contacts via steering wheel controls or dash knob). A real bonus, for £47 (yep, a tenner less than quoted!)! Should really be a free upgrade as i think its just a case of popping in a disc or something but he Thumbs Up y, worth it for me. Very Happy

Interesting stuff - guy salmon are quoting £170 - for an hour and a half - under £50 is more like it - unless your service or whatever subsidised it.
Don't know what Salmons charge for a service I never recovered from the £170 Shocked

WHAT AM I MISSING ON MY 07 HSE THEN?

So on my 07 HSE that I am picking up on Monday what do I need to ask them to do to the car and for why? I asked them today to test the NAV on the move and that works fine. Does that mean my car is already upgraded? What do I need do know about the Bluetooth problem? I have an iPhone.

If your motor is a MY 07 I'm sure it will not have the ability for you to use the phonebook and last number redial facility via the car. You should still be able to dial out - just your phonebook is not visible.

I referred to this when talking to them;
"Land Rover are just in the process of issuing a TSB bulletin
TSB00095...29/10/07

then all seemed to come clear for them - It now works by the way, they will want to try and charge you for this.

good luck

Here in U.S. Americans,

I took my car to the dealer, complaining about constant unpairing of phone and vehicle. I went to pick it up and next thing I know - I HAVE phone book over BT!!! With a 3G iPhone!!!

I was very happy, had to go to two dealers, the second one did it for free!!
