Tell me....do they have a Tech note for.....

1) Wife fills diesel with petrol
2) Puts key in ignition and turns on
3) Turns key further to start engine
4) Drives car a few k's to shops
5) Rings husband and asked why car won't start?
6) Husband asked wife if she put petrol in car instead of diesel
7) Wife says no, then check receipt which says "Unleaded"
Cool Husband throws mobile phone across room and tells her to sort it out herself

???

It's now being towed to dealer for "assessment"

Rule 1 - Never ask your wife to fill your car, regardless of how many times you tell her it's a fu*@in' diesel and make sure you don't put petrol in it Banging Head RRS TDV6 Bluetooth, VR, Roof

12 . If no magnetic particles are detected, re-assemble the vehicle (with new parts as necessary - refer to GTR) and road test vehicle for at least ten miles checking for normal engine operation and no stored diagnostic trouble codes are logged.

Actually, does "Vehicle has been driven until it stops" and "Driven until it no longer starts" fit in the same category? Rolling Eyes RRS TDV6 Bluetooth, VR, Roof

Welcome, mate.
It wasn't Tim who had the misfueling experience.
Anyway, if you know a way to avoid doing it why not share the idea with the forum? Wink Malaysia Boleh!
