Rear number plate sizes

Well its almost time to go and collect my Sport from Holland Very Happy
Can someone tell me what the best size rear number plate is for the Sport? Shaped or not?

Just reading and following the posts on this site puts a huge smile on my face Very Happy I never thought I would be feeling so excited about picking a new set of wheels, but some how this purchase has heightened my sense's big time Wink
This will be my fourth LR and all from De Koning LR in Arnhem, three Disco,s and finally the BIG V8 Sport Very Happy its like my dear old Dad used to say "boy, there is no substitute for cubes"
I hope this fellar is all and more than ive hoped for!
Ear wigging on all your posts has cemented by belief that buying (what equates to a small flat) on four wheels is the right move!!!! I feel its going to to be soooooooooooooo much more fun than the now gone D3.
I think the RX8's days are numbered once I have got this fellar chipped.
BRING ON CUBES. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Thumbs Up Thumbs Up D4 3.0 HSE with all the toys.

Hi I'm sure you will like your new RRS The TDV8 is quite quick and can be frugal on the diseasel.
I saved by getting my RRS in Scotland, getting a good trade in for my Scooby and a big saving on the taxes over here in Belgium.
I have just an ordinary No. plate, when I looked under it I seen the dealer took 3 attempts to get it on the car and it still dosn't look square Confused Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh

My last RRS had a shaped rear plate................................... the new one has an oblong one and like Alicatt it doesn't look as if it's square in the slot! Not sure which shape is best and as I don't have to look at it while I'm driving it doesn't bother me too much either!

They are the same plates as fit on Rover 75's/ MG's and Ford Focus, my shaped one was supplied by the dealer when I bought the car. Most plate makers will make them up for you.
I recently saw 1T on a Java FFRR S/C and the plate looked lost on the back of the car, at least they put it on a small plate rather than a huge swathe of yellow with only 2 characters on it! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
