United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 HSE Stornoway Grey
!* inch wheels and Bembro brakes.

Having killed my silly 21 inch tyres on small off road stones I have now fitted 18 inch wheels using 40mm spacers. All has been excellect and no problems apart from a bit of mud thrown up on bodywork.I am soon to fit more agressive tyre as the RR standard type just fill with mud and there is no traction.
Has anyone any info on fitting a winch to a V* Sport. The heavy weight of these vehicle make it easy to belly out on soft ground. David.

I have a winch fitted to my RRS - basically you have to get the whole kit via LR unless you're lucky enough to find the winch mount on ebay, I did it this way but haven't seen one on ebay for ages. RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE Zambezi silver,Alpaca.
On Order - LRX expected 2010

Did you use the spacer to get around having to remove the harmonic damper Question

Have you noticed any problem with the wheel arches Question

He probably doesn't have the Brembos as he has the 4.4 V8.

In that case he wouldn't need spacers Whistle

There is a TDv6 HSE in the village that has been riding on these since they bought it:

I think they are RS design and the tyres are AT2's, I also think they are 18" wheels for some reason A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

Tata TDv8 HSE - Stornoway/ebony and straight grain walnut with towpack, Tasmods and an HST grille. Coming soon LEDs in the headlights
Staying - Epsom Green Defender 90 for playing off road

Great pics Tim, but they wont fit the TDV8 for the reasons already mentioned etc - someone earlier was going to get some pics of some Compomotive ones that were supposedly on a TDV8 with Brembo's that were 18 inch wheels Exclamation Gas, grass or ass - nobody rides for free!!

I saw them too when the thread was new. They weren't on a TDV8 they were on an SC.

The fact that Bowler say that they fit means you should have no problem returning them if they don't.

Compomotive themselves say they fit. Still trying to get hold of the guy who posted the original pics on rangerovers.net.

Bowler have said that they dont fit unless you take off the Harmonic Dampers and they advise not to do this for several reasons - see Matts post on here.

Also, Compomotive told me back call Bowler as they aint supposed to sell them, did not have any and were not sure if they did fit or not!!!

I would still like to see the wheels mentioned earlier in this thread to see what they actually were. Gas, grass or ass - nobody rides for free!!

pod states in his thread that he turned the weights around in his calipers, after which they did fit.
