Bluetooth Fix ?

Ok - So my new audi has everything - well it does now ! ............... including full bluetooth connection with my nokia N95 including phone address book.

What I have done to overcome the issues of connectivity/pairing/sync with address book is this:-

I came accross a topic on a nokia website.

It recommended you install the software on your phone for the nokia 810 car kit - this enables the "push" of your info to another device.

For the N95 - its the second from top. ie.

This contact download application enables you to download the contacts from the following Nokia phones to your Nokia 810 Car Phone via Bluetooth technology: Nokia E50, E60, E61, E61i, E62, E70, E90 Communicator, N71, N73, N77, N75, N76, N80, N91, N91 8GB, N92, N93, N95, 3250, 5500 Sport, 5700 XpressMusic, and 6290.

So if someone wants to try their N95 in a RRS............. see if it works for you ?

So............ no one been out to try this possible fix yet then

To All those with a nokia unable to access your phone book over bluetooth - it has to be worth a try. It worked for me in my audi let me/us know how you get on

nice one! If this works i'll be well happy!!!!!!!! Downloaded and bluetoothed / installed..... just finishing up @ office and I'll try my N95 in RRS!

As for the fix??

I have not been able to get it to work in Mrs MDP's TT

But not to give up... I will try her other phone - that has less contacts on it - I wondered if the software couldn't cope with the zillion contacts she has on her N95?

Will report in due course

It may not work in older RRS's [ yours is a 2006 ]

Is there anyone out there in a new 08 model year who's got a nokia and wants to try it for me ?
