Range Indicator - Not enough Digits

Just done a 2200KM road trip over the long weekend, Sydney to Noosa, the sport behaved impeccably. However i noticed that the range indicator does not go above 3 digits Shocked it could have quite easily registered 1000K plus as it was stuck on 999 for at least 150+ K's, must complain to Land Rover Wink Picture taken at the lights, so not to upset local plod who were out in abundance catching criminals, sorry i mean motorists Whistle

1000km is 625 miles, right? How have you managed to get 625 miles (or more) out of a single tank? Very Happy Thumbs Up

Shmoogle, not sure if it would do 625, i filled up on the 1/4 tank mark most times, to stop the crud getting into the system. But the trip from my house in North Sydney is pretty straight forward, very little gear changing needed, a picture from the tomtom showing the next marked event is a roundabout in 190K's Laughing

So as you see, not to much hardwork for the Sport to do. The Pacific highway makes the A30 look like a 6 lane freeway, mixture of dual carriage way and single lane highway with takeover lanes in dodgy places, its in need of a serious investment as it is the primary roadway in Oz with many large trucks on it Another Pommie Bar Steward down under
