I'm pretty sure it's do with with new Sat Nav upgrade or such like.... but my Nav works on the move which is great. That was one major criticism I had with our 56 reg D3... I printed off instructions how to temporarily unlock things but is there any permanent method requiring new software installation or something for D3?

The MY08 satnav has that function out of the factory (as long as you're not in the litigious USA)... for it to work on older vehicles, you need a) the 2008 DVD and b) a software upgrade. Most dealers will charge for this if it's the sole purpose for going in, you might get it free if you point a gun at the service manager's face whilst also having a service. |
