Heated windscreen functionality

I had left the car outside over night the other day and in the moring the windscreen was fogged up so naturally I demisted it with the program button, this starts the fan and the heated elements front and rear. On the Rear screen I can see the hot elements clearing the screen, however the front screen didnt appear to have the same effect..... What should I see, anything ? or are the heated elements not working I wonder and its a trip across town to LR ? Brit across the Pond Wink

As Josh said, it does not show like the rear one because the heating element in the front one are much closer to one another then in the rear. Range Rover Vogue ‘17 TDV6

Yep, but it clears pretty quickly with the PROG button, especially if the screen has just got condensation on it. Even when the screen is iced up in the middle of winter, it's only 2 or 3 mins and it's clear enough to drive.

Ayates - I find the screen pretty useless in clearing mist, it works best for deicing the windscreen. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

I usually hit the top right hand button (prog) on the console turns the lot on. After about 2 or 3mins minutes its clear as a bell and works well for misted up windscreen given that it is directing air at the screen as well as turning on the heated screen. Then I turn it off long before the prog has ran its course.

Takes a little longer when its iced up in the middle of the night when most members on here are asleep Yawn Exclamation TDV6 - gone
