Very good insight into how other car companies build a car, shame LR dont test there vehicles like that, if they did then they would be returned because of the noise from the front suspension Evil or Very Mad

They still put the windows in by hand. Shocked How labour intensive is that?

Envoy, I suggest you visit "The Home Of The Legend" and take advantage of the factory tour. It will open your eyes. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

Q7 = I nearly bought one - fully specced - but the 3.0d is not sporty enough for the size car. The 4.2 petrol is now redundant as they have introduced a better 4.2D and the V12D is due out next spring. I would def re-look at a late or new 4.2diesel once the V12d is out - would be good value, the V12 i'm sure will carry a hefty premium.
