Terrain Response Dial in

Hurtling around the central coast this weekend, i had a number of opportunities to put it into Grass/Gravel/generally slippy crap mode, due to the looseness of the gravel surfaces (called roads over here). A question the book does not answer (yes i actually read it, or the pertinent bits anyway), if you are travelling at say 60-80K range in normal high range and wish to dial in slippy crap mode, do you have to put it in neutral or can you just dial it with out changing. The manual is elusive and mentions you should pro-actively set it up, where has for everything else it is specific about selecting neutral.

Cheers

Just turn the dial, no speed limit as long as you aren't in off road height. You will find the throttle response different though.

As Pelyma has already said, just turn the dial.

You only need to select neutral when changing between high and low ratio. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

Thumbs Up many thanks, will remember next time, it is quite easy to go from tarmac to gravel road when you are out of the Towns and in the bundooks. Another Pommie Bar Steward down under
