Why not have another.....................? Or even keep the one you have for a bit longer! Then you could be another leader and replace it with a QPod www.qpod.co.uk just to be different! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

From what I've read about the new Audi and seen the interior pics in last months magazines, that could be one car that could possibly tempt me away from the Sport. Matt

Or stick an MG Rover badge on the back and label it ZT-T or a BMW badge on it and call it a stretched X3, looks like Audi is loosing the design plot too 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

re audi

think the pics from MDP are, for me quiet good, not seen the car myself yet, but just have it on my list I think that the rrs is very good and completely different in its design than anything on the road at the
moment. just that I usually change my cars after about a year. Who knows, I may go back to a ML?

re tim and the QPOD

Hi Tim, re the qpod, rented one or similar this summer in France, absoutely fantastic fun driving on the beach and dunes. very similar to the old beach buggies\Not sure I would want to drive it around Hyde Park corner,But would really love to take one into Hampstead on the school run and see the reactions of the anti 4x4 brigade
But driving one after a RRS, must be similar to you leaving your container ship and going out in a Fletcher 15!

ok, re audi, loocked again at pics, and then went to spec. yes I agree with you now, looks reasonable from rear, but from the side ?? must be due to its enormous length, will be like driving a mini bus

Audi are usually at the top of their game when it comes to
designing cars.........I think the 4,2 A8 is fabulous for a saloon
car......but this excuse for a RR competitor totally misses the
target !! What were they smoking when they designed this
mutant !!

G, I suspect they weren't smoking anything (it would have been far more adventurous if they had!) I reckon that there was a committee sat round a table, all wearing blindfolds and describing to a blindfolded artist what they wanted! Isn't a camel supposed to be a horse designed by a committee!
I am becoming very suspisious that Audi bought the remains of the MG Rover Group and not the Chinese and are trying to use up all the unused body shells!
The Silver Q7 or whatever it is looks just like a Rover75/ MG ZT-T Tourer with jacked up suspension and bigger wheels!

I plan to keep my car till the warranty runs out, unless the DV8 is spectacular of course.

If I still want a 4WD I'll get another, or a full size RR, otherwise I'll probably go for an M5. L319 D4 HSE

Martin,

Your Audi Q7 picture of the rear is wrong. It looks nothing like that. I'll see if I can dig out some 'real' pics. It looks *much* better than that. Matt
