Seriously though e-bay from what i can make out is a chancers market. I spent a while looking for a set of 20" supercharger alloys. Watched all the auctions and they seemed to be going for between 1600 & 1900 a set. A set then came up with a buy-it-now for 1200. A few quick checks proved they were originals and 2 days later they were sitting in my garage, complete with all the nuts, locking nut socket & black centre caps!! HSE TD6 (Java Black/Ivory)

Only thing I have ever bought from eBay were the Sill Plates........ spent the afternoon browsing there and am amazed at what folks want to sell - I don't know if I would really want to risk money buying a car though, and 5k is a lot to pay for a build slot, I don't know any Land Rover dealers in these parts who would want that much of a deposit even from a new client............ 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

They must be raving mad/desperate to bid for a build slot - paying over the odds for a Supercharged Sport, I could put myself into one Tomorrow without paying a premium. There a loads about up and down the country sitting in dealers showrooms just waiting to bought. Spend a bit of time phoning round youll soon drop onto one.
