Just about to take delivery of my first RRS ..... she's a 2007 4.2 HSE Supercharged (with only 59k on the clock) ..... and apart from dreading getting to know the first names of the staff at the local fuel stops due to upcoming regularly visits (lol), I'm as excited as a kid at christmas!!

Moved from a 55plate X5 (fully Spec'd) - love this RRS, not the first RR previously owned a Classic Vogue SE and a P38

Evening all. Having had a couple of petrol FFRR over the years I went german but tomorrow come back to the fold with a 2008 3.6V8 HST. Apologies for having gone to the dark side for a while.

It will sit in the garage next to my 2000 TD5 Defender 90, lovingly known as the "Fox Killer".

Hope I get as much out as this forum as I have out of the others I frequent.

Just bought myself a 07 TDV8. Very nice car, drove it to Switzerland for the New Year. Developed a minor wheel bearing grumble when almost there, decided to get it sorted on my return.

Guess what? it did not make it back and had to have it replaced in France. Dealer has agreed to cover the costs of doing so, but what a pain in the harris.

Other than that and the 23-25 mpg i am loving it.

Anyway lots of good advice and guidance on here so will be a regular visitor.

I traded my d3 in for my rrs 2009hse after being a 'I prefer landys to a range' Driver! Until I drive a rrs although I love the disco for its size and practicality the rrs are in my opinion superior in drive, build quality and status feel and it's a great feeling when u look back at a beast of a range parked on the drive

My vote would always go with the D4, of course, but both are the same underneath (give or take the odd thing), so it's whether you want/need the Disco practicality or RRS "luxury".  Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

Hi everyone,

I am an avid Solihull Products fan having owned the Freelander I, Disco II, 2005 Range Rover Sport S 2.7 TDV6 and my current vehicle which is a 2008 Range Rover Sport SE 2.7 TDV6 which has done 114k miles and is still going strong.

As I partake in a number of field sports I use it off-road quite a lot and have just ordered a set of General Grabber AT's to get better traction in all these current wet and muddy conditions.

I have decided to run my current vehicle for as long as possible so looking to get some good info on maintenance etc... from this forum.
